Welcome to Stock Trader AI (www.stocktrader-ai.com). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Stock Trader AI is an investment companion platform that provides AI-powered company research, portfolio tracking, trade logging, dividend tracking, watchlist management, and a personalized AI assistant. The service is designed for individual investors to build confidence and improve their investment knowledge over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use this service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

You may create an account using email/password or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Plans

Stock Trader AI offers Free and paid subscription plans. Current plan details, features, and pricing are available on the plans page within the app. Plans and pricing may change from time to time — any changes will apply from your next billing cycle.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Usage allowances reset according to their respective cycles. Unused allowances do not roll over. We do not store your payment information — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. User Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data you input into the service, including trades, holdings, dividends, and notes. You grant Stock Trader AI a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not sell your personal data or investment information to third parties.

6. AI-Generated Content

Stock Trader AI uses AI language models (currently Google Gemini) to generate research reports and assistant responses. The underlying AI model may change at any time without notice. All AI-generated content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. AI-generated content does not constitute financial advice, investment recommendations, or solicitations to buy or sell securities. See our Disclaimer for full details.

7. Market Data

Stock quotes, charts, and financial data are sourced from third-party providers including Yahoo Finance. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the timeliness, completeness, or accuracy of market data. Market data may be delayed and should not be relied upon for time-sensitive trading decisions.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit AI-generated research reports
• Circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or other technical restrictions

9. Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time through Settings > Privacy & Data. Account deletion is irreversible and will permanently remove all your trades, holdings, research, conversations, goals, and other data.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. See Section 11 for our full disclaimer of liability.

11. Disclaimer of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stock Trader AI and its operator accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, cost, or expense of any kind — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive — arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the service. This includes, without limitation, any losses relating to investment decisions, trading activity, reliance on AI-generated content or market data, data loss, or service interruptions. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Your use of the service is entirely at your own risk.

12. Intellectual Property

The Stock Trader AI platform, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is the intellectual property of its operators. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
